“not just any orange – bright, vibrant, show stopping orange”

From the moment I met with Kelly and her amazing planner, Spell Events, I knew this wedding would be one for the books. She shared that she wanted orange and green to be her colors. And not just any orange – bright, vibrant, show stopping orange. Her girls were going to be wearing all types of green dresses in different colors, patterns and prints and these florals were guaranteed to be a beautiful contrast.

Their venue, McGovern Centennial Gardens in the heart of downtown Houston, led us to create an immersive garden atmosphere throughout the reception. We brought in trees and potted plants for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. The darling bar signs by Yellow Rose Calligraphy, were complimented by a large urn of eye catching blooms that could be seen throughout the entire space.

With florals this bright, a few acrylic compote arrangements paired with some glass bud vases and candles was enough to fill the tables with color and a warm glow. Last, but certainly not least, we used repurpose aisle floral to line the front of a completely custom band background stage and guest danced all night long. Cheers to the Vinzants!
